Anquish of creation

Long have I dreamt about having a website of my own but for the same reason as so many other dreams I have I just never got around and put it in practice or even tried out to. The expectation of failure, feeling of being insignificant, pointless and irrelevant in the world of internet which expands daily with new information by over 2,5 quintillion bits is overwhelming and depressing to the mind. How could I possibly create something that someone else might want to read and follow?

With having the idea of creating a website of my own coming back to my mind - I did as I always had done. I built this impermeable wall in my mind which I could not penetrate and go through or go around it. This time I didn't give up as I had before because I had something I didn't have before - Someone who encouraged me, someone who gave me support and liked my idea. The support has still helped me to continue and see this project through. People I know have already started eagerly to ask if my project is ready for them to see it. This is how my idea of my own cartoon-, photo-, do-it-yourself- and blogwebsite started to form into what it is now. The impossibility have started to feeling more like an opportunity!

Art for everyone!

Art belongs to everyone but not everyone has the same chances to enjoy it. The museumcard in Finland is a great idea - for those who don't have to count do they have enough money tomorrow for food or bills. Going to the museum or art exhibition costs money. Very few museum is always free and some museums offer free access one day in a month. Also it seems that the free access days are coming to an end and soon all places will cost the usual entrance fee or one has to have the museumcard which costs money. Poor people aren't allowed to choose a day or time freely to enjoy the art.

Art is rarely free and available equally for everybody since things like where we live, how much we have money and our social status have an influence on who gets to and whose art we can enjoy of.

The website is under construction but its online for all to see and use. There are lots of updates planned for the website and worked on. The english translations will lag a bit behind since I'm making all the content first in my native language Finnish but in the future the plan is publish in both languages at the same time. I'm also working on comics and other publications alongside coding the website and therefore those are published on a irregular basis on the website.
